Usual Terms and Conditions

The 48-hour test to own period commences on the date and time that the Purchaser takes delivery of the vehicle.

In the instance of a return, the purchaser must deliver to Gasmak Motor Group (GMG) an unencumbered title on the test vehicle and confirm the vehicle has not been in anybody else’s custody.

The purchaser must present the vehicle and the reason for return to the Site Manager at the GMG location where the vehicle was purchased or truck it back at their expense (only during Co Vid).

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was when it was purchased. Any marks, dents or damage to the vehicle will be the cost and responsibility of the Purchaser. No refund can be effected until the vehicle is returned to its pre-sale condition.

The purchaser must return all accessories, keys and owner’s manuals supplied on click & collect/delivery.

Transfer of title will take place automatically without notice confirming the purchase of the vehicle if not notified by email after the conclusion of the 48-hour period.

In the event of a return, any trade-in vehicle that was part of the purchase will be returned so is not included as cash back.

If GMG Is provided with any false information this immediately renders this agreement invalid.

This is for private/individual purchase only. Any commercial purchase such as a business, sole trader, partnership etc require separate GMG authorisation or they do not qualify and as such are excluded from the programme.

A vehicle cannot travel more than 150kms. If it travels more than 150kms it cannot be returned.

If the refund of the car is not enough to release the car from an encumbrance over the vehicle, the customer must pay the balance in cleared funds to GMG in order to release that encumbrance.

When returning the vehicle to GMG, the vehicle will be checked by the site manager to ensure all conditions are met. Once approved GMG will make payment via an EFT within 2 business days.

All EFT payments require the purchaser to supply in writing the banking details followed by a confirmation over the phone of these details. Any delay in this will cause a delay in the refund.

The vehicle cannot be financed by a third party. If the purchaser requires finance, then the only accepted financier is the finance company associated with the dealership. All finance documents must be executed prior to delivery as these are the documents that will be sent for settlement once the purchaser accepts the vehicle after 48 hours.

GMG reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions without notice.
